Agahozo Shalom Youth Village

The Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village is a residential community for secondary school youth that focuses on restoring hope and opportunity to youth affected by trauma in Rwanda.

By embedding stable family units, formal education, health and wellness, and life enrichment in all aspects of the Village, they foster emotional and intellectual growth.

Their sexual and reproductive health and rights work is driven by young people and aims to support young people, especially girls, to find their own solutions to gender inequality and HIV/AIDS

Additionally, they are shaping SRHR curriculum through a gender equity lens in order to help support the training of teachers throughout Rwanda.
