Catalysts for community change
CTAOP partners with organizations (Program Partners) that support young people. Program Partners engage young people and their communities in multifaceted ways to address the social and structural drivers of health and gender inequality, including comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education, prevention of gender-based violence, access to adolescent-friendly health services, psychosocial support, peer counseling, intergenerational dialogues, and community-network building.

A generation of changemakers
In 2018, CTAOP launched the Youth Leaders Scholarship (YLS) program to help cultivate and strengthen community leaders in South Africa by providing comprehensive scholarships for tertiary education.
YLS provides full scholarships, individually tailored academic counseling, psychosocial support, and leadership skills-building work that the young leaders participate in over the course of their tertiary education journey.
In addition to mentorship and support services, the YL Scholars receive full financial support, including tuition, fees, accommodations, travel costs, and books.
